Wed, 06 Jun 2018 19:00 - 21:30 JST

Impact HUB Tokyo

2-11-3 Meguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo-to

Description

Ruby is a security researcher, consultant and bug bounty hunter from the UK. He's disclosed over 250 vulnerabilities to companies like Apple, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Airbnb and Uber. One of his notorious exploits being the hack of the gaming platform "Valve" at the age of 16.

Ruby is currently working independently with clients on solving unique security issues in a range of contexts.

We'll discuss the difference between "white hats" and "black hats", ethical hacking, bug bounty hunting and his experience on the field. Ruby will also introduce some of the basic bugs he's been solving for companies.

ApéroTalk is our event series based on a very simple (and very French) concept: Apéro and Talk.

Agenda

• 7:00 pm - Doors open
• 7:30 pm - Talk and Q&A by Ruby
• 8:30 pm - Networking session
