This week, Thomas Bertrand will share with us his entrepreneurship journey, from bootstrapping a simple blog to running two companies.
When he created his blog in 2003 to share his experience as an exchange student at Kyoto University, Thomas had no idea the platform would lead to the creation of Bento&Co, an e-commerce platform exporting bento boxes all over the world. As the platform grew, Thomas started struggling with the shipping solutions available and went on creating his own online shipping service: Ship&Co. The project just closed a $920K round of investment.
Thomas is operating from Kyoto and will also share information on the local tech scene.
ApéroTalk is our event series based on a very simple (and very French) concept: Apéro and Talk.
