Building around your users: A non-designer UX talk - By M. McFarlane from Tacchi

Thu, 13 Jul 2017 19:00 - 21:30 JST

Impact HUB Tokyo

2-11-3, Meguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo

Description

Now that you master web development, how do you know what you should build? During this talk, Mark will cover the different user researches types: ethnographic, feasibility, usability, post-release.

Whether you're a software developer willing to discover the world of UX, or just curious about the behind-the-scene secrets of Web Design, this "UX for non-designers" talk is for you!

For this talk, we'll have the great pleasure to welcome Mark McFarlane, founder of Tacchi studios. With an iOS developer background, Mark founded Tacchi studios in 2011, a web and mobile studio that focuses on crafting beautiful, and most importantly usable products. Tacchi is also the agency behind Canvas, the go-to community for designers and creatives in Tokyo. Follow Mark on Twitter for more about Tacchi and Canvas!

ApéroTalk is our events series based on a very simple (and very French) concept: Apéro and Talk.

Agenda

• 7:00 pm - Door opens
• 7:30 pm - Talk and Q&A by Mark
