Programming can be a stressful occupation, and many software developers are struggling with emotional and mental disorders. In the 2020 Stack Overflow Survey, 15% of all respondents said they have some type of anxiety, mood, or emotional disorder. While the tech industry has been putting some effort into improving mental health for its workers, there’s still a long way to go.
On January 19, we are happy to invite you to the panel discussion with tech professionals who will discuss mental health for software developers and how to improve it. The panel will also touch on hot-button issues, including the pandemic’s impact and stress management. Attendees will be able to interact during this event and chat live with others in a safe space (https://github.com/lewagon/conduct).
