Have you seen these videos where you can swap your face with celebrities dancing in the music video? These are examples of a deepfake technology that relies on artificial neural networks to create a mind-bogglingly convincing media. Seamlessly stitching a person into a video or photo they never actually participated in has a huge potential that can be used for both good and bad purposes.
On Apr 21st, Machine Learning Engineer and zeteoh co-founder Yann Le Guilly will run an online workshop unravelling the mysteries of deepfake videos and pictures. He will also create a toy deepfake example using a publicly open resource.
Key points:
✔️ Deepfake examples, obvious and hidden
✔️ Potential impacts on the society
✔️ Technological advances in the industry
✔️ Building and testing a deepfake (you will need a gmail account to run it)
