In building Data Science & Machine Learning teams, achieving a diversity of approaches and experiences is not just desirable — it is critical. Yet in Japan, as few as 13% of data scientists today are women.

This panel talk brings together four women working in Machine Learning in Japan to discuss what drove their decision to pursue a career related to data science, to understand differences across approaches to learn it, and to examine what can be done to encourage more women into the field.
