Elixir π§ is an extremely accessible functional programming language that is rapidly gaining popularity for good reason. Many programmers are dazzled by its uncanny resemblance to Ruby, the language we love and teach at our Le Wagon coding bootcamps.
For this workshop, we are happy to have Erin Boeger fom Omise Labs to give you a basic introduction to Elixir and the tools you'll need to be effective working in the language. It will be aimed at programmers who don't know Elixir, and don't necessarily know any functional programming.
The workshop will be organised around a set of practical tools that should take you through the basics of the language, such as Pattern matching, Happy paths and Pipes, and Tasks.
