Description

Have you ever heard an inner voice saying “What am I doing here? They all know more than me”? 😨

More than half of tech workers experience the phenomenon known as Impostor Syndrome, feeling that they are fraud and don't deserve their job despite all of their accomplishments. It doesn’t happen with beginners only. Whether you’re a startup founder or newbie developer, everyone has moments when they feel like they’re totally pulling things out of thin air.

For this online talk, we are happy to welcome Tim Isenman, a self-taught iOS developer who previously worked as a Product Manager on League of Legends at Riot Games. Earlier this year, he launched his first app, Pocket Rocket, to help people track and watch SpaceX rocket launches. Despite his app skyrocketing to Number 1 in Entertainment, and Top 20 in Paid Apps on Apple’s App Store, Tim still often feels like, in his own words, that he sucks at his job, and that he just lets people down.

Join us for an insightful talk with Tim about why Impostor Syndrome in Tech happens and how to manage it!
